Pokémon Sapphire, along with Pokémon Ruby, are two action role-playing video games that were released simultaneously by Nintendo in 2002. Gameplay
Pokémon Sapphire possesses virtually unchanged gameplay compared to its predecessors. You will control the trainer with a 3rd view from above, with the primary goal of catching all the Pokemon in the game and defeating the Elite Four. The plot of the game is arranged in a linear order. You will team up with Brendan or May to fight Team Aqua, a criminal syndicate that wants to use Pokemon to change Hoenn's climate. They are villains intent on using the legendary Pokemon Kyogre to flood the vast lands of Hoenn and expand the region's oceans.
