Pokemon Black 2

Pokemon Black 2, released in 2012, is a remake of Pokemon Black, released in 2010. Both games are produced by Game Freak and promoted by Nintendo. Pokemon Black 2 belongs to the fifth generation of the Pokemon video game franchise and is designed specifically for the Nintendo DS console game. Joining the game, you will play the role of a Pokemon trainer with the goal of becoming the Pokemon Champion of Unova. At the same time, you will have to fight to defeat the criminal organization Neo Team Plasma as part of the game's side story.

Pokemon Black 2 introduces longtime fans to a number of new features, including a Key System, Hidden Caves, a new city, and a host of new Pokémon for players to collect into their Pokedex. The vast world of Unova contains over 300 Pokemon of all types, most notably the legendary Pokemon Kyurem, for players to train, discover their super abilities, and engage in battles with the Pokemon of other trainers.

Story

Your amazing adventure will begin in the hitherto undiscovered western areas of Unova. During your Pokemon collecting quest, you unintentionally uncover Neo Team Plasma's sinister agenda. They intend to harness the legendary Pokemon Kyurem's might to overrun the globe. Using Kyurem's particular abilities, the group plans to freeze much of Unova, including Opelucid City, in order to gather every Pokemon possible. 

You will pursue Neo Team Plasma to Humilau City, where you will be assisted by Marlon, the legendary Gym Leader, in rescuing Kyurem and defeating Neo Team Plasma. After the Neo Team Plasma side plot concludes, you may devote all of your effort to defeating the Elite Four and the new Champion of the Unova Alliance, Iris, and fulfilling your ambition of being the Unova League's Pokemon Champion.

Gameplay

The vast new world of Unova is home to the franchise's trademark third-person turn-based battles. You will control the Pokemon to fight the opponent Pokemon, use the Pokemon's skills to attack, apply effects, or dodge the opponent's attack. Every time a Pokemon uses a special move to attack, it consumes one PP point. Depleted PP points mean that the Pokemon can temporarily not use the skill until the PP bar is restored. Besides, the amount of Pokemon's health is shown through the HP bar. This bar will decrease every time the Pokemon takes damage from an opponent. If you make the opponent Pokemon have zero HP bar, it will faint, and you will win the match. The reward for the winner is experience points, which help Pokemon level up, improve stats, and evolve into stronger forms.

New Features

Pokemon Black 2 introduces the "PokeStar Studios" feature for the first time. It is a special entertainment mode of the game that allows the player to participate in the filming of a movie involving Pokemon and other actors. With the help of director Brycen-Man, you'll attempt to create your cinematic masterpiece featuring you and all the Pokemon you own. Additionally, the game introduces the all-new Key System feature, giving you quick access to new additional areas such as the Black Tower or the White Tree or special rooms containing the game's legendary Pokemon.
